Brief Answer:
no need to panic

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.

The term 'vampire fungus' is used as descriptor for pythium oligandrum, an oomycete sometimes employed in treatments for athlete's foot and nail fungus.

The vampire fungus threat is nothing but simply candida.Overgrowth of fungus will lead to yeast infection which is not serious in most of the cases.
.So dont panic.
