Brief Answer:
Your medications do not make gout worse

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank your for asking at HCM.
I carefully read your question and understnad your concern.

None of the medications you take effect gout so you can have them regularly. The one for the lipids might in very rare cases cause muscle pains and damage and at that time might effect gout but if you do not have muscle pains you should not have problems with it. If you have muscle pains on your extremities than you will need to speak with a doctor and have some tests done to make sure it is not a side effect of the lipid lowering drug.

There are some other medications that are used for high blood pressure and especially aspirin. Try to avoid aspirin during gout episodes as it may worsen it.

Generally it is mostly food and beverages that can effect gout. Try to avoid alcohol and food rich in protein while you have the gout attack.

Ibuprofen in high doses, cold compresses, rest and leg elevation are used to help with symptoms.

Hope this answers to your question and is helpful to you. Feel free to ask further

Kind Regards,
