Brief Answer:
Give activated charcoal by mouth.vomiting should not be attempted at home

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

A small amount of phenyl liquid is not dangerous but it can irritate the delicate mucosal lining of the airway, lungs, food pipe and stomach.

If someone has consumed more than 20ml of phenyl then immediate medical attention is needed.

Also, phenyl is considered as corrosive in nature, stomach wash might be harmful. So vomiting should not be attempted at home, rather you can give syrup gelusil 5 to 10ml immediately.

Give activated charcoal by mouth which will prevent further absorption of phenyl.

Or give a few tablespoons of Liquid Paraffin (medical grade) to dilute the traces of phenyl and to soothe mucosal linings.

Charcoal and liquid paraffin are readily available in any pharmacy.

However, it would be advisable to take him/her to the emergency room (ER) on urgent basis for one time physician consultation even if there is no clinical symptoms.

Hope this helps and let me know if you want some more help.

Regards,
