What Should I Do To Prevent Hernia?

Thank you for the query.
First of all you need to know that to get hernia you need to be prone of it. Some people wont have hernia at all, no matter what they will be doing. Other will have hernia even if all possible precautions will be taken. It is because hernia appears to the people who have inherited connective tissue disorder. Some people have weak collagen in every part of the body and nothing can be done with it.
However hernia does not appear in every place of the body. It appears only in the areas were the abdominal wall is weaker. And so we can have inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, abdominal hernia, hernia in the scar (post surgical).
To prevent hernia (if you are prone of it) you should avoid lifting heavy objects, do not push hard on your abdomen (during passing the stool for example), watch your abdomen when coughing (if you will be holding the cough, the pressure in abdomen suddenly rises).
Hover even following this steps does not guarantee that a hernia wont appear. And nothing can be done with it.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
