Your current cholesterol is high at 274 but it can be managed by dietary restrictions.
The ideal levels should be below 200 and the most important thing is to lower the LDL(Low density lipoprotein which is harmful to the heart ) and increase the HDL(high density lipoprotein) which is good for the heart.

To reduce the levels of cholesterol you can do these things:-

-Take food XXXXXXX in omega-3 fatty acids like fish like mackerel,salmon,sardine,trout etc;
-Avoid red meat
-Take walnuts,almonds,and use olive and olive oil as these will help reduce lower your LDL.
-Do regular exercises especially you should do walk daily for 45 mins to 1 hour,
-If you have any habit like somking or alcohol please stop immediately.
These measures and precautions will help you control your cholesterol and maintain good health.
