Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic
A thorough history and physical examination is the first step – get him examined and have a file in a tertiary Care Hospital
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Routine blood tests – compete blood count (including ESR & CRP) / Lipid profile
Kidney and liver function are also routinely done, though not related to heart.
ECG (Electrocardiogram / EKG) – Routine 12-lead – is part of clinical examination.
HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) is done to analyse and plan for missed beats or silent ischemia.
ECHOcardiogram is necessary to see the heart valves (Mitral Valve Prolapse) / heart muscle (Cardiomyopathy) and heart function (Ejection fraction, wall motion abnormality) / clots...
TMT – Treadmill exercise ECG is necessary to evaluate ischemia (reduced blood flow / Coronary Artery Disease)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XXXXXXX Hrudayalaya is a very good set up in XXXXXXX / there are several others…
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aspirin is good. The dose is 75 to 100 mg as a routine / 300 mg in emergency
Clopidogrel can be kept in addition / the dose is 75 mg / in emergency 300 mg
Nitro-glycerine sublingual tablet / oral tablet or patch can be kept in addition
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The same hospital again / they will generally send an ambulance, well equipped.
Any other hospital that is very close can be a transit point
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upper abdominal pain may be related to heart (Inferior wall ischemia) / Generally heart pain is related to effort; stomach pain is related to food
For gastric problem, see a Gastroenterologist and et him investigated / may need upper and lower GI endoscopy
In the meantime, Lactulose and bowel training can help in chronic constipation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Others – normal weight / no smoking / no drinking / diet / regular exercise / calm personality / regular follow up with his doctor
Good luck
God bless you
