What To Do When Skipping One Dosage Of Epilepsy Medication?

Question: I have had epilepsy since 2007 and take epilim chronom300. currently i take 1500mg a day. 2 tablets at approx 6.30am and 3 tablets at 6.30pm. I've been under a bit of stress recently so I cannot remember if I took my evening dose. I haven't had a fit since December 2011. What is the best thing to do? Skip a dose and hope for the best or perhaps "overdose" by just one tablet?
Brief Answer:
Take next dose regularly.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
When you forget to take one dose of medicaments ( including Epilim Chrono) and there didn't happen seizure, next thing to do is don't forget to take the next dose on its regular schedule.
There is no need for breaking the schedule and taking extra dose.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Brief Answer:
Seizure chances are very low.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for asking again.
Epilim Chrono has a prolonged half-life ( 10 to 20 hours) so you are covered by last dose and seizure chances are very low.
Try to calm down, because anxiety and stress can trigger a seizure by itself.
Don't forget to take the scheduled dose.
Hope this helps. Wishing you good health.
