Thank you Dr. Bhavsar for your response.
I had CT scan without contrast on 6-9-2016. It says the following:
The lung windows show no pneumothorax or pleural effusion. Balateral apical pleural/parenchymal benign fibrotic scarring, right more than left, is noted. Mild chronic scarring is also seen in the lung base ' notably at the inferior lingular segment of the left lung and the inferior aspect of the medial segment of the right middle lobe. No suspicious pulmonary parenchymal nodules or masses are seen. There is no airspace disease to suggest pneumonia or atelectasis.
Impression: Pulmonary benign fibrotic scarring with no suspicious pulmonary masses or nodules.
Thank you.

Hello doctor and thank you for your response.
I am short of breath, I can't breath fully and it's hard when I do physical exercise.
I had some lung infection a while ago but it was not pneumonia or tuberculosis.
Will you tell me please what kind of modalities does chest physiotherapy include?
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Your lung fibrosis is mostly due to previous history of smoking.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern. Your lung fibrosis is mostly due to previous history of smoking.
And breathlessness is more suggestive of bronchitis.
Bronchitis is common in previous smokers with lung fibrosis.
It is inflammation of airways.
For diagnosis, you should get done PFT (pulmonary function test).
PFT is effort dependent test in which you need to breath in and out in the machine.
PFT will not only diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only
You may need inhaled bronchodilator and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS).
So consult pulmonologist and get done PFT.
Hope I have solved your query. If you are not having further queries, then please close the conversation and rate my answer.
