Question: I am on 1mg of klonapin and 100mg of Zoloft. Is it ok to have a few beers later in the day if on said medication?
Brief Answer:
Can be taken but keep a gap of at least 2-3 hours
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Klonopin is Clonazepam and Zoloft is Sertraline. There are no significant serious interactions between Zoloft and alcohol. But if an individual takes beer along with Clonazepam then there is risk of serious sedation and this can complicate to coma also.
So keep at least 2-3 hours gap between the two. If possible try to avoid taking Beer along with these drugs.
Thanks, I hope this helps you. Please dont hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
