When Do Periods Begin After Medical Abortion?
Question: Hii doc ...I got medical abortion done At 4th week of pregnancy on 8th November..so when do I expect my next period..n can I use primolut n to postpone my next period by any chance??

If your abortion completed by 8th november , then if your menses have been regular earlier the you can have it between 8th -15 of december. However sometimes they tend to be delayed by more than a week or so. But it it better to allow it to resume naturally and not use any form of hormonal medications like primolut to postpone periods as it cause future irregularity and hormonal imbalance.
As the body takes generally 4-6 weeks to return to the prepregnant state , ideally no form hormone pills should be used unless you are taking them for contracepion preactices.

Abortion was done on 8th Nov..n bleeding continued till 15th Nov almost...so how should I calculate the 4 weeks u said..ist it from 8th or 15th...n m also having moderate intermittent pain in lower abdomen since last 3days...so is it an indication that periods will start??
