Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear

whether treatment should be taken or not depends on symptoms and stage of disease.

If you don't have any symptoms then nothing to worry. Its not necessary to start treatment right now. You can wait for a while.

Wait and watch approach is commonnly used in early stage of CLL. But you should go for regular follow up. Start treatment later on when needed.

Brief Answer:
Overall 5 year survival rate is 60 to 80%.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Prognosis and survival rate depends on many factors like stage, type, genetic abnormality, number of abnormal lymphocytes, patients co morbid condition, other medical history and many others.

It is not possible to tell a person how long he will live with CLL.

But from statistics we can say that approximately 5 year survival rate is 60 to 80%.

Don't worry much about that.
