Brief Answer:
It takes upto 3months for final vision improvement

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

It seems from the history that you have undergone scleral buckle surgery for retinal detachment.
Scleral buckle surgery does provide good vision improvement and the final vision improvement may take up to 3 months.
However many factors influence the vision recovery.
The important factors are
Involvement of macula and duration of involvement of macula. Macular involvement and longer duration of involvement often leads yo poor vision recovery.
Preexisting factors like refractive errors, cataract.... does influence the vision improvement.
Scleral buckle will itself cause hypermetropia because of compression and may cause blurring of vision.

Hence I would like to know details like
What was the probable cause for retinal detachment?
Duration of retinal detachment?
Vision before surgery and after surgery?
Whether the detachment involved macula or not?

Do provide me answers for the above questions so that I can answer your question more accurately.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
