Brief Answer:
No treatment needed, no precautions needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Positive Ig G just means that you are immune and protected against that infection.
THere is no need to take any treatment for it.
Can you upload your test results, so that I can look at the Ig M results, which are more important ?
Why have you got these tests done ?
ALso, why do you need to wait for 1 .5 years to plan a pregnancy ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

I recently had a d&c at 3 month due to blighted ovum. When we did Torch test.
cytomegalovirus IgG is very much high normal value is <12. Actual value I got 177.
Rubello IgG also I got 44 normal value should be <10.

We have consulted doctor here. She suggested to wait for an year or more to plan next pregnancy as I am not immune to virus.

iam in a remote area now unable to scan the results to dend report. I have provided in details, please let me know do we really need to wait for an year to plan next pregnancy

Brief Answer:
No need to wait for a year.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX
After a miscarriage, it is better to wait for atleast 3 months before planning a pregnancy.
The high Ig G values only mean that you are completely immune to the virus, and there is no reason to wait for one year .
You can start trying for a baby after 3 months.
Take daily folic acid supplements until then.

Brief Answer:
Yes you are immune to the infections.

Detailed Answer:
Please do not get confused.
Yes I have gone through the test report.
High Ig G levels mean that you are completely immune to the infection, and do not need any special precautions or treatment.
ANd yes, I am sure of this.
If somebody has told you differently, you have been misguided and mis informed.
There is no need to wait for one year, or take any special measures for these infections.
Women with high Ig G levels are immune to them, and only high Ig M levels mean that you are having acute ( recent ) infection that needs treatment.
