When Should USG Pelvis NT Scan Be Done In Pregnancy?
Question: Im pregnant of 12 weeks.. My LMP was April 10, 2014.
Doc has given me USG pelvis NT scan & Anti XXXXXXX plofile CTSH to be done on 05th july.. Due to some reason im not able to do it.
1) So is that fine if i do my scan by this week end?
2) Someone said that this scan is mainly to check f the baby is alive,.. Im scared. Kindly tell the symptoms of miscarriage?
3) I have a controllable pain in lower abdomen, is that an issue?

This scan in first trimester is to see the exact week of pregnancy and foetal growth and we'll being.
So three scan are advisable during pregnancy, one in each trimester.
Please do not worry!if you are late by some reasons.
The symptoms of miscarriage are mainly abdominal pain, bleeding per vagina in early months of pregnancy.
No! mild abdominal pain is not a issue.
In my opinion now you should consult a gynaecologist and get your proper examination and investigation done.
