When Should A Woman Start With Mercilon?
Question: Good Morning, I started taking the pill (rigevidon) and I recently finished my 21 days, I never took a break so I went on to take about another 7 days. The pill I was taking was making me feel really sick and depressed so last Thursday (7th of May) I stopped taking it and yesterday (11th of May) I went to the DR who prescribed me with a different kind (mercilon) . My question is, when can I start taking the new pill, can I start taking it on Thursday 14th of May as this would be my 7 day break or because it’s a new pill do I need to wait until my next period? XXXX

Usually they start on first day of menstrual cycle or on 5 th day of menstrual cycle Continue for 21 days with 7 days break.

thank you very much for your response. May I ask, even though I took about 28 pills without any break, and I can start my new pill On thursday. Can I currently still have unprotected intercourse in the meantime? Will I be protected?
