Which Specialist Should I Consult For Blood Clots In The Lower Leg?

Question: I've been diagnosed with blood clots in the lower leg previously. I've recently relocated from Central Florida to South XXXXXXX so away from my regular doctor. I'm having similar pains / issues as before. What type of doctor ( i.e. specialty ) do i need to look for locally to re-address this issue.

You have similar pain in leg. Si it is most likely to be due to recurrent deep vein thrombosis.

You should consult thrombosis clinic if available.

You need heparins or thrombolytic treatment.
