White Spots On Knee After ACL Surgery, Pain. Going To Do MRI. Normal?
Question: My daughter had ACL surgery back in Dec of 2009. She was able to rehab and resume playing field hockey. She has felt some type of pain since the surgery. The trainer recommend she go for an x-ray. She was told she by the regular doctor that her knee look like it has shrapnel (white spots) but that he doesn't know what it means for someone like her.
I have been reading online and some of the information is scary.
She is going to have an MRI on Friday.
Is it normal to have white spots after an ACL tear?

Hello,
Can you please upload xray image of her knee?
I can make better comment after that.
