Question: why do our internal organs stop growing in adulthood....is it due to the decline in GH during end of puberty? Or is it because maximum growth potential is already attained at the end of puberty? thanks and best regards

Brief Answer: Growth Detailed Answer: Both your answers to your own question are correct. GH production by the body is most relevant in humans during the phases of growth. Once adulthood is attained, human genetic programming does not permit continuous growth of internal organs. In general growth hormone production does decline with age, as does testosterone.
