Why Does My Wrist Hurt When I Bend It After An Accident?
Question: I fell of my bicke yesterday and hurts when I bend my whrist, forward and back,I can't bend it back all the way can you tell me something please
Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to get x ray of the wrist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I believe that you may have sustained injury to wrist. It may be hairline fracture. I would recommend you to get x ray of the wrist joint to confirm the diagnosis.
If there is fracture than you can get splint application. Even if there is no fracture, than you should apply splint for seven days.
I would also recommend you following .
1.Tablet Etoricoxib one daily.
2.Keep finger moving.
3.Do not keep it hanging.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks

Thank you if I can't get to doctor would bandage be okaky
Brief Answer:
Bandage should not be tight
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I would not say that only bandage is sufficient . If you do not wish to go to doctor than you can apply elastic bandage. But it should not be very tight. And it should be applied by a triend person.
You can also apply volitran ointment, I hope this answer will be helpful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
