Question: I didn't ask why the burning is only when I am sitting or lying down. Enough to drive one nuts!

Hi XXXX,
Thanks for giving a nice positive review and five star rating.

This is the nature of symptoms in radiculopathy that they are worse in some specific postures.
So,when sitting or lying in particular positions,your nerve radicles are getting irritated more or compressed more,thus resulting in exacerbation of symptoms.

Please follow up with MRI L-S spine and I shall be able to give a clear picture of your pathology.
