Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Congratulation on your pregnancy.
Thank you for believing me about your health concern.
I have worked through your history and reports; these are my opinion about your problem.
-Placenta previa may correct by itself and placenta grows up with advancement of pregnancy, but in some cases it will not happen so in that case patient requires cesarean section.
-Sustan injection is a progesterone hormone (progesterone is secreted by placenta to support pregnancy) given in pregnancy to support it. The role of its utilization during pregnancy is very controversial depends upon your treating doctor. (No harm in using it, so you can take it)
-If bleeding occurs, doctor gives progesterone, HCG injection and tranxemic acid to stop bleeding and support baby.
-As you are having low lying placenta you should abide by these precautions-
-Take complete bed rest.
-Avoid exercise and any type of exertion.
-Avoid sex during pregnancy
-On lying down position to keep your legs on pillows (to raise your legs).
-Take healthy and balanced diet
-If bleeding occurs immediately contact your physician
-Be prepared yourself for caesarean section and premature delivery
Please do not worried about it, as you are not bleeding and not having any symptoms and your baby is growing comfortably, so enjoy your motherhood.
Go repeat scan at 32 weeks to examine the placental position if placenta will not move upward than most probably you may require a caesarean section.
Hope it is useful; feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.
