Brief Answer:
this medication has no effect on clotting

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Mucinex DM is made up of dextromethorphan and guaifenesin.

Neither of these medications have any effect on clotting factors or any other factors involved in clotting eg platelets ,they do not affect the ability of the blood to clot.

Medications such as aspirin, plavix, ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam , warfarin, heparin and the newer anticoagulants.
There are some medications that may interact with warfarin and affect its function in this way but you would have to be on wafarin .

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
