10 Year Old, Fever, Dry Cough, Cold. Taking Crocin, Taximo, Terex Kid, Not Helping
My 10 mon daughter suffering from 101 fever since morning. I hv given her crocin drop 3 times in the interval of 5 hrs. She also had dry cough n cold. But even after giving d crocin drop fever is again coming after 2 to 3 hrs. I had also given her taximo n Terex kid for cold n cough as prescribed by doctor. pls suggest.
As you mentioned you daughter has a fever, cold and dry cough. You are already giving her crocin and she has also been started on Taximo.
It is advisable not to give both crocin and terex together at the same time since terex also has paracetamol which is in crocin as well.
Give it sometime, if her fever starts coming down and the interval between her fevers start increasing, that means she is probably on the road to recovery and just needs some time.
You can talk to your doctor regarding the right dose of crocin for her weight. If she continues to have high fevers that are continuous and not controlled with medication, then you should see your doctor again for further evaluation, she might need further testing.
