10 Year Old With Stabbing Stomach Pain. Not Acid Reflux Or Ulcer. What Else Could It Be?
my ten year old daughter has had stomach pains off and on since early december. We ve gone to the peditrician, it s not acid reflux , the flu or an ulcer . We can t fiugre it out. She say s it s not a hunger pain, or nervous pain, she know s the diffirence. It is in her lower abdonmin it changes form crampy, to achy, to stabbing pain. Any ideas?

Does she have any urinary complaints too- like pain while passing urine/ increased frequency of urination etc?
How are her bowel movements? Does she pass soft stools daily?
Its better to have urine microscopy done to rule out Urinary Infection- which is quite common in female kids.
If pain is severe as you have mentioned- ultrasound abdomen will also help.
