My daughter is 11 months old she was admitted to hospital for weight loss , and I got told she had a very fast metabolism and she needs to eat alot. She is eating tons. She was 9lb born and only 14lb now! She is having very stringy mucus dirty nappies, and her food does not look digested. Why? She has only just started sitting and rolling and last week she lost weight!

hi you need her to be evaluated for random blood sugar, urine test for p h, detailed stool examination possible causes ; childhood diabetes malabsorption just review with your doctor what tests have been done and what are left let me know the results take care
