11 Year Kid, Pain On Right Side. Had Kidney Failure Last Year. Should I Meet A Doctor?

My 11 year old daughter has pain on her right side, starting in front and going around to the back (right side only) She has been swimming a lot lately, and playing games with other girls on her shoulders, so at first I thought she may be sore, or have pulled a muscle. But now I am concerned about her kidneys (I just suffered kidney failure in Sept. 2012) or her appendix? Should I take her to an urgent care?

thanks for your Q on HCM - abdominal pain on Rt side in lower part usually will need clinical examination to make sure it is not related to appendix issues ( but she would generally feel unwell with it & also have nausea+ vomiting & toilet problems)
Kidney related pain starts from Rt side lower rib acge area & then goes in front to groin area - also will be worse when passing urine & may occasionally have blood in urine - if related to kidney infection will also have some elevated temparature.)
I suggest get her checked by Dr & also try some painkillers like paracetamol / ibuprofen if no allergies noted in past.
Hope that helps
