Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I can understand your concern, but her presentation does indicate some kind of a problem. The possible causes for such a presentation, with all the important information provided by you are:
-
Peptic ulcer disease
-
Irritable bowel syndrome (type-
constipation)
-Constipation
-Gastritis
-Gall stones
-Lactose intolerance
and a few other conditions.
It is close to impossible to reach a diagnosis without gathering history, food items that she has been consuming (diet) and a physical examination; which might require an
endoscopy as a follow up investigation. I would recommend a visit to your daughter's
pediatrician or a gastroenterologist directly. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
In the meantime, please give her plenty of fluids. Increased fiber in her diet, avoid carbonated drinks, acid containing food or fruits, and give her 5-6 small meals through the day instead of 2-3 large ones.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
