13 Year Old, Getting Sick At Night, tiredness, Active During Day. What Could Be This?

My son is 13 years old and has been getting sick at night for about 2 weeks. He is fine all day long except that he seems excessively tired. He has no fever, blood pressure has been normal, blood sugar has also been normal. He says just before he gets nauseous he gets dizzy. I'm a student, I just don't know what else to do with him. Could it be an ulcer?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Tiredness could be because of lot of causes. Anemia is one of them. Are his palms and soles looking pale?

A simple Hb% will help in identifying anemia.

Nausea could be because of several causes like ulcer, gastritis, hepatitis etc

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
