13 Year Old With 2 Cafe- Au -lait Lesion 15, Several Other Lesions In Upper Back And Thigh. What Further Work Up Necessary ?

13 year old with 2 cafe- au -lait lesion 15 mm-20 mm and several smaller lesions that developed over 8 months ,in upper back , thigh , has one large brownish macule at the left thigh congenital. what work up is necessary. Is MRI of head indicated at this time or wait till 5 15mm cafe-U-lait spots develop, will several smaller lesion will justify MRI of head to look for lesions in the brain

Hi, plz dont panic with development of these cafe au lait macules unless there are other symptoms in body like convulsions, neurofibromas, visual disturbances, etc.
but yes for safety you can plan an MRI head
