16 Months Old Having Rash With Pimples Behind Neck, Back, Chest, White Heads, Nasal Congestion, Green Mucus. Causes And Treatment?
my daughter is 16 months now and has a pimply rash on the back of her neck and between her shoulders, and a bit of it on the front of her its all red and pink with pimply white heads what kind of rash could this be? maybe a heat rash?.... she hasnt been feeling wel the last few days with a bad runny nose with greenish snot and shes been really cranky... probably just a cold?

your daughter is 16 month old having rashes of colour red and pink , I want to know size of rashes ... from where it started ?did your baby exposed to hot climate ?
pink or red colour pimple like rashes on neck, shoulder and front side are more going towards the diagnosis of heat rashes .
if u wear your baby tight cloth not loose and cotton one in this summer time in india these rashes may occur .
It can develop when the sweat ducts become blocked and swell and often leads to discomfort and itching. you should be careful for seconday bacterial infection. it usually go away with 3-4 days .
1. wear loose and cotton cloth . keep skin cool and dry.
2. maintain hydration . increase water consumption.
3. prevent from direct exposure to heat ..
4. for smoothening of skin you should apply calamine lotion . avoid other ointment .
. if it doesn't go away after 3 or 4 days, or if it appears to be getting worse, or if your child develops a fever, contact your doctor right away.
