2 1/2 months my OBGYN toke me off prempro (lowest dose) his reason was because I have been on this medication for 15 yrs (I am 60 ). I was fine for a few weeks but the hot flashes are back and are getting worst by the day! And my sleeping is awful. I also take synthroid. Today my OB put me back on prempro. I didn't even think to check with my family doctor 2 1/2 months ago when taken off prempro. Now that I look back I am wondering if the sluggish feeling and sore muscles are a symptom? I am a runner and have struggled through runs. Now that I am back on prempro how long before I am back to myself?
