2 Year Old, Suspected Of Eating Xanax Tablet. What Signs Should I Check In Him?
My 2yr old & i were just at my friends house. My friend accidentally dropped one of her prescription medicines on the floor. Xanaxx? We couldn't find it. Don't think my son found it but just worried about if he did. What signs should i look for if he did & to what point should I bring him to the ER if he did. Don't think he did but still i am worried.

Xanax is alprazolam available in 0.25-1.0 mg in strength.
If your child took 0.25 mg tablet need not to worry at all as this dose will cause mild degree sedation ( may be sleep ), if higher dose sedation high corresponding to the dose of tablet.
In my opinion you should not consult or visit any ER .
Only wait and watch as effect of drug will pass within 8-12 hours.
