22 Yrs Old And Scared About An Infection

Recently I discovered a small white bump in back of throat, around the time of discovery I developed a sore throat and stuffy/runny nose..what could it be ? and also is it possible to develop cancer in your tooth ? I recently had a doctors appt! and she said everything was healthy, but gave me amoxicillin to clear an infection i had! Help! I am a 22 yr old female who has a small history of smoing weed and scared this could be serious

Hi Yasmin, the symptoms that you have mentioned are the symptoms of a respiratory tract infection and not cancer. So please do not worry. Consult a good ENT surgeon and you will be fine after completing the antibiotic course. Take care!

Hey Yasmin, these things do happen in infection. Even I have a sore throat now and it is too much for you to think in terms of cancer and related things. So you should not worry. Get the antibiotics and should be fine I guess.
