3 Month Old Having Loose Stools 10 Times A Day, Drowsy. Teething Or Something Else ?
I have a 3 mnth old who has been having loose stools about 10 times a day, For last 7 days.........he hasnt showed any discomfort with it other than sleeping habits changing....he been more drowsy. he is drooling alot so could it b just teething , And he also has been pulling at his right ear so i feel he maybe has an infection? Or could it b something else?

Your 3 month old son is having the following problems:
1. Loose motions about 10 times a day for the past 7 days
2. Drooling
3. Pulling his right ear
The incresed frequency of motions warrant that you show him to a doctor who will advise appropriate medicines. Teething is not present at 3 months of age and hence the drooling is not because of it. Drooling is common at this age and I shall not worry about it. Similarly I shall not worry about the child pulling the ear unless he is irritable and cranky.
As mentioned kindly show him to a doctor for the loose motions.

If there are watery loose stools child get dehydrated and will become drowsy and give sips of oral rehydrating fluids to rehydrate the child and consult your pediatrician. Around 3 months of age drooling of saliva starts and it is normal developmental phenomenon. Because of irritation children will pull the ears . If there so no pain and fever nothing to worry. But as the child is drowsy consult your doctor for the assessment of dehydration and specific management and the ears examination.
