3 Year Old, Palate Pain, Fever, Mouth Pain. Taking Motrin, Tylenol, Omniceph

my 3 year old is complaining about his palate hurting he started out with high fevers and now his fevers are controlled with the Motrin and Tylenol but he screams when I give it saying it hurts his mouth. what is it. I'm giving him omniceph and permission cause he was wheezing too but now it's fever cough mouth pain its been 3 days in meds now

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
Probably he is suffering from URTI
Do not give hot or spicy foods because it hurts his throat
Continue antibiotic for another 2-3 days and tylenol as and when necessary
You may add cetrizine syrup 5ml at bed time
He will improve within another 3-4 days
Otherwise consult a pediatrician
