Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Usually there are types of fever in different infections.
Like intermittent fever in which fever will come on and off such as in viral or malarial fevers and upper respiratory tract infections.
Continuous fever like some viral fevers.
I advise you to go for basic investigations like CBP, malarial parasite, widal test and CUE to know any infection after consulting your Pediatrician.
Hope I have answered your query.

Pediatrician Dr. Himanshi Kashyap's  Response
Hi ,
From what I understand from your history she got fever and then became afebrile only to get it back. This kind of fever which is kind of biphasic where child is alright in between happens mostly in simple viral infections. If there is no detoriation in her status except for fever you can wait but if the fever goes beyond 7 days then it would be better to get blood investigation done.

Bye
Take care

Emergency Medicine Specialist Dr. Sheeba Stephen's  Response

Hello and welcome to health care magic. Thanks for your query

Since your child is having periodic fever ( intermittent), which subsides with fever medications and recurs again
There are few medical conditions in which we see this kind of periodic fever. It is very difficult to diagnose with out proper physical examination to find the infection foci .

She may require few basic blood investigations to find the root cause for fever.

Wish you all the best
Regards
