30 Weeks Pregnant, Having Pain In Left Ribs For 3 Months. What Should I Do?
I am 30 weeks pregnant and have been having pain in my front left ribs for about 3 months. It is to the point where I cannot even touch my skin in that area. The only relief i get is when I stand up or sometimes when i lay down. I almost cannot handle it anymore.
Pain decreasing or increasing during change of posture is more likely of musculoskeletal origin. As you are 30 weeks pregnant NSAIDs cannot be given. Only safe option is paracetamol(not potent one). A proper clinical examination will be needed to find out cause. Consult your OBS/GYN for safest investigations and medicines.
Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
