4 Year Kid, Suffering From Stomach Pain, Headache, Vomiting, Loose Motion, Fever. Done Travelling. Jet Lag Or Stomach Bug?

My 4 years son got stomach ache, severe head ache, vomiting, loose motion and now fever around 100. He came to US from India on Thursday evening and all these problem started on Friday night or Saturday morning. His sleeping time is totally disturbed. Is this a problem of the JET LEG or any other issues? HE complains headache at the middle of the head. Or is it a stomach bug? Should I call 911 or wait for the morning?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It appears to be jet lag. However intestinal infection needs to be ruled out. I suggest that you keep him well hydrated and in case vomiting persist then it shall be better to consult the doctor.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son an early recovery.

Regards,
