hi, my name is XXXXXXX my question is is there a treatment for the enlarger of the heart ... plz.. becouse my 5 years old son is is rush in the hospital this past hour and his now on the ICU .. i didnt know what to do becouse im very far away from my family im here in XXXXXX.. and family is in the XXXXXXX pls.. sir , mam, kindly help ..becouse our only communication is in the cellphone.. sir i hve no money i just want an answer.

With the information you provided, it is very difficult to comment on the treatment options for his enlarged heart.
If the enlarged heart is due to heart failure resulting from the underlying heart problem like congenital heart problem or due to acquired heart problem like rheumatic heart disease- the treatment is available directing towards decreased load on heart by digoxin, lasix and followed by the definitive surgical repair of the primary problem.
If the enlarged heart is due to Dilated cardiomyopathy the difinitive treatmet is heart transplantation which involves the availability of donor and expenditure.
But the treating doctor is the best person to say the available options of treatment , so I advise you to discuss with him.
