53 Year Old, Suffering From Thigh Pain, Difficulty In Walking After Getting Up. Spine Problem? Suggestions?
Hello Dr. grief. my name is Al and I am 53 years old male I am 5'9 tall and weigh 270lbs. my thighs ache so bad. when i get up from a seated position or out of bed, it is extremely hard for me to walk. I am in so much pain. I have to stand in place for a minute or two before i can began to walk. Could this be a spine problem? Its not my joints but rather my thigh muscles.
Hi, It seems that you might be having osteo artheritis changes in your vertebral column or in hip joint giving you this trouble. Go for x-ray lumbo-sacral region and find out the cause. Go for physiotherapy daily and regularly. Go for back extension exercise. Take branded high dose of calcium, Vitamin A, D supplements. Ok and take care.
