5month old male infant 3 days of a fever over 100 plus reacts to motrin and Tylenol and goes down but not away. goes to dr, they rule out teething and tell the mother to watch for rash. today the fever is not present but the 5 month old is freezing but skin is sweaty. he has cried non stop today and the mother is distraught because they are not set to see dr until 845 tomorrow morning for blood work. My experience is to tell this mother to take him to a pediatric ER
