Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Its essential that we know the cause of the fever before we start appropriate treatment. For the fever, he can give him Tablet Tylenol 650 mg four times a day. This, along with sponging with tepid water, should help bring down the fever. In order to help me identify the cause and suggest treatment, please answer the following questions:
a. Does he have cough, running nose or chest pain?
b. Does he have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea?
c. Does he have any burning while urination, increased frequency of urination?
d. Has he noticed an angry looking, painful lump anywhere on the body?
e. Is there any rash that you might have missed?
f. Does he feel as alert as before or he feel drowsy most of the time?
Awaiting your reply
Regards
