6 Weeks Pregnant. Change Of Medicine From Folic Acid To Akumentis All. Forgot And Taken Folic Acid. Will This Harm Baby?

Hi, doctor... I m 6week pregnant and I was taking folic acid 5mg but now my doctor has prescribed me to take Akumentis All 9 tablet inplace of folic acid but I forgot her instructions and I took both the tablet all 9 along with folic acid for 6 days and now I stop folic acid and taking only all 9 tab. I m worried now. Is there any harm to take both the tab or is there any side effect to my baby? and for 2to 3 days I dont like to have any food I feel like vomiting when I see food or smell it.why its happening plz answer to my queries.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult your gynaecologist for examination and investigation like ultrasonography to see your baby is fine or not.
You do not worry about taking both the drugs together it will not harmful for your baby.
Feeling of vomiting may occur in early pregnancy so do not worry about it if it increases take some medication from gynaecologist.

Welcome to HCM.
Akumentis contains Methylcobalamine,L-Methylfolate And Pyridoxal-.
There is overdose of folic acid but it will no harm to take this simultaneously for 6 days now stop folic acid.Vomiting like feeling is usually occurs in some patient during first trimester.
Don't worry,take more liquids like lemon water with sugar and salt,fruit juices.
Make you busy with music,reading good books,watching good movies.
You can take doxylamine Succinate....10 mg to subside the vomiting like feeling.
Ask your doctor and keep in touch with your doctor.
