6 Year Daughter, Suffering From Fever, Headache. Taking Tylenol. Suggestions?

My six year old daughter has had a 101+ fever for the past 72 hours. She complained of a headache a couple times. She is much better after tylenol/motrin. She has seen her doctor twice and tested negative for strep and flu. Right now she is 101 and sleeping in her bed. I am just really concerned. She is eating and drinking normally

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Your child is having a viral illness most probably.

Continue Tylenol for fever and headache.

Give soft diet, plenty of oral fluids, and proper rest.

If fever is persisting consult pediatrician again for re examination and for basic investigations like CBP, malaria, CUE after examination.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
