7 Month Old Has Red Bumps/blisters Around Mouth, Lips And Under The Eyes, Had Stuffy Nose. Anything To Worry ?
my 7month old girl has red bumps or blisters around mouth and one or 2 under one of her eyes... an yesterday she had a fever not sure the temp...but she sure had a fever an didnt want anything around her nouth..so she wouldnt eat..even barely a bottle...today she seems good so far...just she has a couple more bumps around her lip..anything to be worried about? by the way not sure if this would help any but she has a diaper rash an a couple days ago her voice was hoarse an no shes stuffy
The blisters around the moth and eyes might indicate an insect bite. A mosquito bite can bit several times in different areas of the exposed skin resulting in red bumps that are unevenly placed. If the bumps have occurred overnight or a very short period of time, it definitely indicates an insect bite.
The other possibility is an allergic reaction but usually the hands, forearms or trunk may also be involved in such cases.
The presence of fever indicates ongoing infection, most likely upper respiratory tract infection as you you said she stuffy.
Kindly give paracetamol to bring down fever and show her to your Pediatrician if the lesions progess.
Take care.
