75 Year Old, Suggested Hip Replacement Surgery. Which Procedure Due You Suggest?

I am a 75 yr old female considering hip replacement surgery. Do you recommend the standard type surgery or the less invasive? I have heard that the less invasive takes longer and the possibility is infection is greater. It was my preference, but know I'm confused. What are the down sides of this procedure vs the standard?

Thank You.

Hi, in case of the orthopedics, and for major surgeries open surgery is the best option. minimal invasive surgeries can be done by laproscopic surgery.
As you are aged 75 years, it is reasonable to have an open surgery. Thank you.
