76 Years Old, Leaks Clear Fluid From Legs. Asked To Keep Leg Up. Edema?

My mum, who is now 76 leaks clear fluid from her legs, which presumably is coming from her pores. She will not go to the doctors, but I have spoken to the Doctor who has issued me with large pads to put under her legs to catch the wet, but nothing else - he said it was probably edema? The only thing he said is to keep her legs up. She she take water pills? The doc said her would come out to see her this week if things don't improve. Mum isn't very mobile and is quite over weight.

Hi, your mom is 76 years, leaks clear fluid from her legs. over weight. sedantary.
It appears to be the infection of filariasis, secondarily infected with bacteria. I usually prescribe to my patients with such symptoms ciprofloxacin, diethyl carbazine citrate, and anti inflamatory drugs.
thank you.
