79 Years. Weakness And Fatigue After Reducing The Dosage Of Loasrtan Potassium Pills. Has Emphysema And Pulmonary Hypertension. Who Should Be Consulted?

My 79 year old Mom is on many meds for many issues, she was taking 50mg losartan potassium all along, but when she left the rehab, a doctor dropped her down to 25 mg pills. It took a month for us to realize this and she's been feeling weak and fatigued. she does however have emphysema and pulmonary hypertension too. do you suggest she see her internist, pulmonologist, or her cardiologist? she's only going back on the 50 mg's starting tomorrow.
thank you

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear Sir/ Madam
Thanks for your query to us.
It would be unusual to feel fatigued after reducing dose of losartan unless the blood pressure has gone up too much. Anyway, I would like her to be seen by a pulmonologist first, to look for any deterioration in her pulmonary status. As that may be contributing more to her troubles rather than losartan, as per the information provided.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
