8 Months Old Baby Is Suffering From Feverfor The Past 2 Days. What Treatment Should I Give Him ?

My 1 year 8 months old boy baby got fever for the past 2 days. I am giving crocin suspension 6ml in six hours intervel. Kindly advice what should i do

Fever can be due to viral infection so continue crocin when he has fever.See if there is any other symptom like running nose;sneezing;cough;loose motion;vomiting.Since it is 2 days it will be better to consult a paediatrician for opinion and treatment.

is this fever continious or intermitant.please mention other symptom along with fever.if fever is high grade plz give cold sponging .

Welcome to HCM.
Dose of CROCIN depends on the weight of your baby.if the wt. is 10 kg then 6 ml is ok.You can give it up to 6 times a day.If your baby need other medication always consult with a PD.

read your prob, there are many causes of fever at this age most likely eighter due to viral or UTI. so get her blood report like CBC, Ps for Mp, urine analysis. then consult your doc.
in case of children do not do drug trial at home as in children dose depends on their weight, low dose cannot works n high dose has side effect.
