My 8 year old daughter is experiencing eye floaters. She says it looks like she has glitter in her eyes. They first occurred overnight about a week ago when she says she woke up and they were there. She has an appointment scheduled tomorrow with an opthamologist, but I was looking to get some answers as to what causes eye floaters in children. Most of the information I have found online pertains to adults.
HI Thank for asking to HCM The retinal degeneration is most likely cause of this symptoms, ( Lettuce degeneration) this symptoms may not be having any specific pathology, but to rule out this, it is important,,, and the retinoscopy is the only way to confirm this and should be carried out by ratinologist only,, take care,, bye
